David Harcourt has amassed a collection of art that is global in scope, yet truly personal, and focused on themes of revolutionary struggles, unconventional beauty, death, rebellion and divinity. The juxtapositions and layering of works from the collection in his spaces produces a gestalt that is more powerful than the sum of its parts. One experiences the collection more than merely observing it and is rewarded by repeated immersion.
